I am a sports/ social and corporate events photographer that also specialises in sports action/ lifestyle portrait photography.
My aim in my portrait photography is to produce, action documentary photographs of people who love the outdoors; to capture how they feel for a moment in time when they are immersed in the sports/ lifestyles they enjoy. Those moments that capture the triumph of the human spirit in touch with nature and the environment.
Blueski photography came about following a freelance opportunity I secured in winter 2008 for ‘Globe trekker productions’ a film/ documentary production company who were shooting a documentary for ‘The Discovery’ channel on the infamous ‘Haute Route’ Ski trek across the Alps. I was selected as the stills photographer and camera assistant for the trek.
Since then I have gone on to photograph a number of ski events including a commission by the Armed Forces to cover their Combined Services Ski and Snowboard Championships in Meribel. My business now extends across a wide range of other sporting and social events from kid’s team sports to charity black tie functions to Corporate PR photography including coverage of Award presentations/ conferences/ product launches / private parties and editorial work.
Whatever the event or requirement I work closely with the client to ensure they get the images they want.
